Musset workshop

Atelier Musset is a craft company whose creations are the result of collaborations between Timothée Musset, craftsman, and designers or architects. Timothée's vision of wood was shaped by a professional carpenter, through a Tour de France of knowledge and know-how. His experience acquired in the renovation of historical monuments has brought out a revelation: these gigantic structural pieces, robust and shaped by time, are in reality the seat of rich and noble emotions.

Timothée selects the species he works for their nobility, but also for what they tell of a local story: the poplar, whose tenderness and lightness we once greatly appreciated - the fir tree, whose popular character does not leave not indifferent - and the oak, whose robustness is matched only by its friendliness when it dialogues with the chisel. The workshop's assembly techniques are inspired by the ancestral know-how of the carpenters. They are designed to reveal the material in her natural dress. All of their creations are highlighted with homemade beeswax.
