Wood care guide
Wood is a living material that evolves over time and will adapt to its new environment. Natural changes may therefore appear over time such as an evolution of shades or slight deformations due to a variation in the humidity level.
Here are some tips for taking care of your wooden objects:
_ put objects away from air conditioners and radiators to reduce the risk of the wood drying out
_keep objects away from direct sunlight to avoid shade variations
_if a part is stained, especially with grease, clean it as soon as possible with a sponge and hot water, and dry immediately with a clean cloth.
_do not use alcohol, bleach or other chemicals to clean the wood
_do not wash, put in the dishwasher or in the microwave your piece
We recommend that you oil or wax your parts and furniture yourself once or twice a year for long-term maintenance. This will make the wood stronger and more durable. If you want us to take care of the maintenance of your OROS parts (sanding, finishing, renewing the leather or straw), do not hesitate to contact us, we will send you a suitable quote.
