Moreria Studio KAL A

The Morería Studio project was carried out by the Madrid architecture studio KAL A. Located in Morería, one of the suburbs of Madrid, the premises have been very degraded for years. The walls and partitions of Morería Studio reveal multiple treatments and injuries sustained over time, while evoking outdated traditions worth preserving. The idea of ​​Morería Studio was to make it a warm place to live, allowing to receive all day long while taking advantage of the little natural light.

The walls were then painted white to bring as much light as possible to the spaces, while the floors, furniture and openings were made of pine by the studio to give it a warmth inherent in the material. The minimalist lines of the pine structures then go wonderfully with the more raw aspect of the studio.
