These glasses were designed by London designer and craftsman Moe Redish, in collaboration with a glassblower. Blown in oak molds, the glass imprints the texture of the wood, giving a unique character. Two types of glass are available, slightly textured or very textured. This difference comes from the selected wood, which burns differently according to its annual growth rings.

“Wooden molds have been used for decades to replicate glass. By dipping these molds in water and rotating the glass as it is blown, burning is reduced and the amount of replicated glass is maximized. I wanted to allow this material to burn and degrade naturally by removing water from the process and blowing the glasses statically.” Moe Redish
