This piece is part of the series of sculptural spoons produced by Ferréol Babin. Made of magnolia brought back from a trip to Japan, this spoon required many hours of work. It was entirely carved by hand with a gouge for the inner part and a kiridashi - Japanese slicer - for the outer part and the handle. Only a layer of oil has been applied to keep the raw appearance of the wood. Unique piece.
