UNIQUE PIECE – This piece is part of the series of sculptural spoons made by Ferréol Babin. Made of magnolia brought back from a trip to Japan, this spoon required many hours of work. It was entirely hand-carved with a gouge for the interior part and a kiridashi – Japanese carving knife – for the exterior part and the handle. Only a layer of oil was applied to preserve the raw appearance of the wood.
