Wood characteristics: Pale pink sapwood color. Heartwood color honey yellow to pinkish brown. Straight grain, little wavy. Fine to medium grain. Soft to semi-hard wood.

Mechanical properties: Very fragile mechanical resistance. 

Technological properties: Moderately difficult drying. Can be stained when gluing with very acidic glues. Works well in general. Its grain allows a very beautiful polish.
