Ferréol Babin

After training in Space Design at the ENSA in Dijon and a study trip to Japan, Ferréol feels more and more attracted by the smallest scales, those which accompany our daily lives. He then moved on to Object Design, at ESAD in Reims. His favorite material? Light, thanks to its ability to be linked to both an object and an environment. He then collaborated with various brands such as Fontana Arte or Bibelo for the edition of lighting.

At the same time, Ferréol is developing a very traditional practice of design by trying his hand at painting, ceramics, or even wood sculpture. For a few years now, he has started a series of sculptural spoons, all unique, made from wood from trees in his garden or brought back from trips to Japan. These spoons, endowed with a strong imagination, participate in a quest for escape, both for Ferréol and for its purchaser!
