“We are shaped by society. We have free will and make our own choices in order to achieve what we want in life. However, our choices are often heavily influenced by expectations and what we consider socially acceptable. »

Through this Frame chair, the Norwegian designer and artist Ali Gallefoss wishes to provoke questions, questions about our place in society, by making perfect allegories. The mesh chair then represents modern society, secure executives, our repetitive days, our calendars and our frantic schedules which allow us to have a certain comfort of life. The wooden chair represents "we" - the human, shaped by society.

Apart from its conceptual aspect, this Frame chair is resolutely minimalist, evoking by its symmetry and its rigor the Steltman chair by Gerrit Rietveld. Its armrests are also perfectly designed to adapt to the top of a table. Available in walnut.
