Table @ Marcus Vora

The @ table is a creation of the Norwegian designer Marcus Voraa. Exploring creative fields from a young age, he first worked as a carpenter, then supplemented his interest in design with training at the National Academy of Art in Oslo.

The table worktop @, made up of around a hundred small beech slats, can be unfolded at will thanks to a crank and a gear suspended under the table. The thin width of the wooden cleats allows them to wrap easily around the metal arm. The mechanism is used to roll up the table top on itself, while you only need to pull the other end to lengthen the length of the table.
