Seven Yoshitada wood carving chisels in their original case. A rare piece, as this type of complete set is now impossible to find, and the blacksmiths still working only produce these tools to order.
Three 9mm flat chisels, one of which is bent, and four Uchimaru gouges from 3 to 12mm. Hand-forged from high-carbon bi-layer white steel, the solid rod handles with a hammered pattern are thick and heavy.
Tools designed for fine engraving, printmaking, and precision sculpting. Suitable for luthiers, cabinetmakers, and anyone working on a small scale with high standards.
Sharpening is required before first use: in Japan, it is always up to the buyer to finalize and adapt the tool to their own use.
