This piece is part of the series of sculptural spoons produced by Ferréol Babin. Made of cherry tree from his garden, this spoon required many hours of work. It was entirely carved by hand with a gouge for the inner part and a kiridashi - Japanese slicer - for the outer part and the handle. Only a layer of oil has been applied to keep the raw appearance of the wood. Unique piece.
