UNIQUE PIECE – This piece is part of the series of sculptural spoons made by Ferréol Babin. Made from cherry wood from his garden, this spoon required many hours of work. It was entirely hand-carved with a gouge for the inner part and a kiridashi – Japanese carving knife – for the outer part and the handle. Only a layer of oil was applied to preserve the raw appearance of the wood.
