Board Tracés 01 OROS Editions

Published 08 / 09 / 2021

For this fall 2021, OROS continues its exploration of the wood material around a universal theme, that of tableware. In this context, his publishing house OROS Edition presents a new piece halfway between cutting board, display and centerpiece. Inspired by the abstract compositions of Jean Arp, our board Trace 01 celebrates free forms and the law of chance. Made in the Jura in oak and maple, it consists of 2 independent elements that fit together as desired. Protected with rapeseed oil, it easily adapts to food use. With its organic shapes, this new Tracé 01 piece marks the start of a new line of timeless objects for the publishing house.

Two other new creations dedicated to the table are also joining the OROS Editions. The minimalist ash and walnut plates can be stacked as desired, while the small spice containers with the same essences offer generous shapes. Produced by woodturner Baptiste André, based in the Jura, these pieces will bring warmth to tables.
