Open! Furniture Torafu Architects

Open! Furniture is a series of furniture designed by the Tokyoïte Torafu Architects studio. The project is anchored in the desire for appropriation of the Minato district by its users.

In collaboration with Shibaura House and Ishinomaki Studio, the furniture has been designed to adapt to the different generations present in this public space. To suit several uses, the surrounding environment is then taken into account thanks to this series of small pieces of furniture such as a side table to be attached to a handrail, a surface resting on a staircase, a large tray. for sushi to be fixed on an existing bench etc.
