Norte furniture Dear Durango

Dear Durango is a Mexico-based architecture and design studio led by Alejandro Valencia. Through Dear Durango, Alejandro exposes his vision of the new Mexican identity, based on the constant exploration of new processes and forms of expression.

Norte marks the first series of works by Dear Durango, drawing inspiration from the collective imagination of northern Mexico and its cultural heritage. This collection promotes the use of oak and local approaches such as leather recycling. Through the creation of each object, the Norte collection seeks to establish a relationship between regional identity and new expressions of design through new techniques, materials and aesthetics.
