Country house in Chievo Studio Wok

This country house has been created in part of the barn of agricultural land. The spatial and material dialogue between history and contemporaneity is the common thread of the project.

The current facades are quite characteristic of the rural architecture of Verona: facade in river pebbles and local stone. The use of larch and birch wood is also a deliberate nod to ancient architectural sites. As Milan-based architecture studio Studio Wok explains, the wooden studs surrounding the windows are contemporary reminiscent of the typical barn wood walls found in rural areas.
