Benjamin Fely

Benjamin Fély is a craftsman-designer. Based in Nantes, he learned cabinetmaking there before studying design at the Decorative Arts. For 8 years, he was able to make use of his different skills as a space designer and manager within the National Edition Art Image Center CNEAI.

He now devotes himself to the design and manufacture of furniture and objects with a primary, simple and instinctive design, deliberately using raw materials in order to combine simplicity of forms and attention to detail. Sharing is an important notion in his practice. In particular, in collaboration with the ceramist Ambre Hervo, he creates several pieces and strives to pass on his know-how through various woodworking discovery workshops.
