9.5° Chair Rasmus Baekkel Fex

Published 05 / 01 / 2019

The 9,5 ° chair is aptly named. Designed in 2009 by Danish designer Rasmus Bækkel Fex, this chair was born from the desire to create an object on the border between art and design, both sculptural but also functional.

The feet are inclined at 9,5 °, making this chair iconic today. By tilting the chair and then raising one end of the backrest to a right angle, a triangle was created, then reinforcing the construction.

Designed in ash, in 2014 it joined the permanent collection of the iconic Danish boutique and creative studio Frama.
